What’s your perfect garden look like?  Is it overflowing with flowers of every
color?  Is it a peaceful outside room in which to enjoy coffee and the Sunday
paper?  Is it fence-to-fence grass on which your kids can perfect their
cartwheels?  The truth is: every homeowner has different goals for their
yard.  So, our approach to each project and maintenance agreement is to
let our client lead.

Garden Renovations, Projects and Staging
Typically, we like to sit down with you and learn as much about your uses
for the garden before making any suggestions.  Through this discussion
and follow-up meetings, we sketch and re-sketch plans for the renovations.
We’ll show you pictures of building materials and plants we recommend
and discuss their merits and costs and allow you to choose what you like
and what best fits your budget.  We often take clients shopping so they can
see, feel and smell plants before we make a major purchase.

If that approach doesn't feel structured enough for you, we have worked with
both garden designers and landscape architects and are happy to renovate
based on plans you’ve commissioned or even created yourself.  And if we
encounter anything in the plans that doesn't seem practical or efficient, we’ll
bring our concern to your attention.

We are a service-based company and do not mark-up any of the materials
used in our projects.  We simply pass along the cost to you -- at our industry
discount whenever available -- so if you have vendors from whom you prefer
to purchase, please just let us know. For example, we often get requests to
purchase from Sloat Garden Centers due to their excellent quality of plants
and their superior customer service.
Major renovations can take weeks, but sometimes our customers simply don't have that sort of time.  If you're looking to add
some curb appeal before listing your home, we'll do our best to fast-track your staging project.  We'll help you choose some
of the highest impact enhancements you can make to help you get your home on the market as quickly as possible.

Whether you’re completely renovating your yard, incorporating a new element like a new patio, wall or plants, we can help you
make your goals a reality and your investment worthwhile.

Ongoing Maintenance
Our approach to ongoing garden management also starts with a consultation with you to discuss your goals for your outdoor
space.  We are not a “mow & blow” service.  Our customers typically are looking for additional services such as plant
changes throughout the year to incorporate color in every season or require aggressive pruning to keep mature gardens in
check.  All our clients look for ongoing irrigation maintenance, bi-weekly water scheduling changes for better water
management and quick repair of any leaks to keep water bills low.

Many of our maintenance clients began with a renovation or project.  We prefer to incorporate a maintenance period into a
landscape renovation to nurture the new garden along.  We like to think of ourselves as a partner in your home beautification
and want to see your new garden remain in top condition.
